The award-winning EHS Lionettes are proud to announce the installation of their 2020-2021 officers for their 33rd drill and dance line. In a new twist, the drill team officers and team members were selected by way of virtual tryouts this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lionette Director Tia Hensley says, “We were not able to have face-to-face tryouts, so our general tryouts looked a bit different this spring. However, we are excited to announce that there will be 27 total line members on the football field in the coming fall, and they will be led by five outstanding officers. We also have one manager helping out the group as well.”
The newly selected line members for 2020-2021 are: Morgan Massey – Senior; Erin Glenn – Senior; Claudia Harris – Senior; Abbrielle Ray – Senior; Tymya Jones – Junior; Madison Sladecek – Junior; Jamiya Spears – Junior; Jaleah Harris – Junior; Hannah Meer – Junior; Denise Aparicio – Junior; Adeline Trojacek – Junior; Morgan Feller – Sophomore; Malia Smith – Sophomore; Lindsay McManus – Sophomore; Kathryn Duarte – Sophomore; Heavenlee Ornelas – Sophomore; Emma Atchley – Sophomore; Brooklyn Eddins – Sophomore; Kaile Saavedra – Freshman; Kailyn Heng – Freshman; Karrah Armstrong – Freshman; Lauren Carl – Freshman; Lily Webb – Freshman; Logan Ort – Freshman; Mia Droll – Freshman; Na’Karia Anderson – Freshman; Presley White – Freshman; and Jade Lowe (Manager) – Freshman.
According to Director Hensley, the Lionettes’ instructional Summer Camp will be held in late July. This fall she will begin her sixth year in leading the Lionettes group at EHS. She is helped by her Assistant Director Jennifer Howard, in her fourth year.
