Special to the Daily Light

The seventh grade Lady Warriors played Everman Thursday night in Everman.

It is always a tough game playing Everman on their home turf.

This night was no different.

The White team took the floor aggressively, but in the second Everman held Hachie to one.

Down by 12 at the half, Hachie rallied back to within 8 at one point before falling behind to loose their first game of the season 32-20.

Scoring for the White team were Megan Rayford (7), Cara Partington (6), Rachel Moore (4), Joy Reyes (2), and Lydia Hantsche (1).

The Green team lost once to Everman early on in the season.

The Ladies knew they had to beat them this time around to have a chance at District Co-Champions.

Everman on the other hand was undefeated and wanted to keep their streak alive.

It was a fast, tough, high pressure game.

Both teams were point for point until the third when Everman pulled ahead by eight.

Hachie came back strong tying the game at 28 in the fourth.

In the last seconds of the game, Everman scored their only two points of the quarter to win 30-28.

Scoring for the Green team were Paige Hill (7), KraNeshia Overton (6), Kate Praslicka (5), Kristen Cotten (4), and LaDaeshia Davis, Lasharia Square, and Jerrica Brooks (2).
