College football is coming to Midlothian this week as Navarro College will line up against New Mexico Military College.
The game will be held Saturday, with the kickoff slated for 7 p.m. at the Midlothian ISD Multipurpose Stadium.
Students from Midlothian, Red Oak and Waxahachie schools will be permitted free admission with school i.d.
Navarro College competes as a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Southwest Junior College Football Conference (SWJCFC), and the Region XIV Athletic Conference.
Navarro lost its 2007 season opener in a heart breaker, 18-17 to Fort Scott Community College.
NMMI took a lopsided 60-0 win over Lea County College last week in the season opener for the Broncos.
Nationally ranked as the No. 17 team, Navarro looks to earn its first victory of the season against NMMI.
The Navarro Bulldogs were 5-4 last season and are excited about playing at the nicest football facility in Ellis County.
Last year the Bulldogs played a pair of games at Lion Memorial Stadium in Ennis.
