SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) _ Aaron Miller hit three doubles and had five RBIs and every Baylor starter had at least two hits Wednesday night as the Bears defeated Texas State 25-13.

Miller and Adam Hornung each went 4-for-6. Hornung had three RBIs and scored two runs. Raynor Campbell had four RBIs and scored three runs. Ben Booker also had four RBIs for the Bears (24-16).

Texas State (24-16) took an early 5-0 lead before the Bears responded with four runs in the third and five in the fourth. Baylor added eight runs in the eighth.

Thomas Field and Paul Goldschmidt each had two home runs for Texas State. Field had four RBIs. Goldschmidt and Lance Loftin each had three.

Erik Forestiere (2-0) got the win. He allowed two runs on four hits and struck out one in 2 2-3 innings of relief.

Kane Holbrooks (2-4) took the loss, giving up nine runs on 11 hits and striking out four in 3 1-3 innings.
