LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) _ Taylor Ashby's RBI single in the bottom of the ninth gave Texas Tech a 3-2 come-from-behind win over Missouri on Saturday.
The Red Raiders (13-12, 3-5 Big 12) trailed 2-1 heading into their half of the ninth. A walk and Jason Seefeld's single to left with one out got the rally going.
Doug Thennis tied the game in the next at-bat with his run-scoring single through the left side.
Missouri then replaced reliever Nick Tepesch with Scooter Hicks, who gave up the winning run to Ashby on a run-scoring hit to center.
Aaron Senne's RBI single in the first gave Missouri a 1-0 lead. Monk Kreder singled in the bottom of the first for Texas Tech, tying the game at 1-1.
Missouri (20-4, 4-1) went ahead 2-1 in the sixth when Tech starter AJ Ramos issued a bases-loaded walk to Trevor Coleman.
Reliever Brian Cloud (1-0) picked up his first career win, pitching two perfect innings with two strikeouts.
Tepesch (0-1) took the loss, giving up two runs on two hits in 1/3 of an inning. He struck out one and walked one.
