RED OAK — Red Oak ISD will begin its annual slew of camps to train the next generation of Hawks and Lady Hawks on Monday. The seven camps will go through July 27 and be held at various locations.
Each camp has its own registration process and form which is available both online and on paper at the Red Oak IS Athletics Department.
Each registration form also includes required waiver forms and information.
The Hawks will hold both Strength and Conditioning and a Football Camps between June 5 and Aug. 1.
The Strength and Conditioning Camp, which is open to both boys and girls in the seventh through 12th grades and kicks off on Monday and ends on Aug. 1, will be from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday through Thursday in the Red Oak High School Weight Room and on the Athletic Field.
The cost is $165 and there is a payment plan available. Interested parties can register online at ATLETSPORTS.COM/CAMPS.
The three-day Football Camp, designed to instill core fundamentals necessary for competition at the middle school and high school levels, is available for children between the grades of third through eighth at a cost of $60 per athlete.
The camp will be from June 6 to June 8 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Billy Goodloe Stadium. All checks must be made payable to Red Oak HS Football.

The ROISD Volleyball program will host grade-specific camps as well as a Future Lady Hawks' Volleyball Camp and a Vigorous Volleyball Camp.
The Future Lady Hawks Volleyball Camps, designed for children in grades one through six, will be held on June 4 and June 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Red Oak High School Competition Gymnasium.
The cost is $20 per Sunday session or $30 for both Sunday sessions. Checks must be made payable to R.O. Lady Hawks Volleyball Booster Club. The registration form can be printed online at http://bit.ly/2s4XONE.
The Vigorous Volleyball Camp/League, sponsored by the Red Oak Lady Hawks Volleyball Booster Club, requires a maximum of a four-player team and may include boys or men — at a limit of two per team — and parents.
It will be held on June 8, 22 and 29 and July 13, 20, 27 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Red Oak Middle School Gymnasium.

Two of the four grade-specific camps will begin on June 5 and extend through June 8.
The Beginner Volleyball Camp for incoming seventh graders will be from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the Intermediate Volleyball camp for incoming eighth graders will be from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Registration prices are $75 per athlete and include a camp T-Shirt. Checks must be made payable to Red Oak Athletics/Volleyball.
There will also be a Beginner's Camp for children in sixth grade or lower and for incoming freshmen between July 17 and July 20.
The sixth and lower camp will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The freshmen camp will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Early registration prices are $55 per athlete and the cost is $65 per athlete after July 11.

Much like volleyball, second-year basketball coach Jason Sasser and his staff will lead a four-session round of boy and girls' improvement camps this summer beginning June 5.
Session one, reserved for incoming first through sixth-grade boys, will be held between June 5 and June 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Session two will be a Youth Hawks Basketball Fundamentals Camp between June 12 and June 15 from 9 a.m. to noon for boys and girls ages four through seven.
The third session with be a Red Oak Hawks Basketball Camp for incoming first through sixth graders on June 12 and ending on June 15 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The fourth and final session will be from June 12 to June 15 and serve incoming seventh, eighth and ninth grade student-athletes. The camp will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
All camps will be held at the ROHS Competition Gymnasium.

Head Coaches Oscar Lewis and Adam Prachyl will hold a set of two-session soccer camps for incoming first through sixth and seventh through ninth-grade student-athletes between June 19 and June 21.
The first through sixth-grade camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and the seventh through ninth-grade camp will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Both sessions, which cost $65, will be held at Billy Goodloe Stadium. All checks must be made payable to Red Oak High School Soccer.

The ROHS Tennis Program and Head Coach Dainta Calhoun will hold two sessions to Hawks and Lady Hawks tennis camps between June 5 and June 15 at the ROHS Tennis Courts or the Red Oak Middle School Gymnasium in cases of inclement weather.
The first session will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. between June 5 and June 8 and the second session will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. between June 12 and June 15.
