Prosper looks for its fifth-straight win as it’s homecoming week and the McKinney North Bulldogs come to town.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 at Eagle Stadium.

The Eagles are 4-2 overall and 3-0 in District 14-5A, tied with The Colony for the lead.

The Bulldogs are 3-3 and 2-1.

NORTH: After starting 14-5A play with a 30-24 loss to The Colony, McKinney North has won two straight, including 28-14 last week against Lake Dallas. The Bulldogs also beat Creekview 59-17. Against Lake Dallas, Lamar Lucas ran for 251 yards and 2 TDs and Parker Brehm had two receiving touchdowns. The Bulldogs are averaging 38.2 points and 438 yards per game. Defense is allowing 33 points and 391 yards per game. Emmanuel Moore leads in rushing with 393 yards and 5 TDs and leading receiver Conner Manning has 33 catches for 271 yards and 2 TDs.

PROSPER: The Eagles continue their roll and continue impressive play where they’ve scored 35 or more points during this win streak, 179 points for an average of nearly 45 points per game. We’ve talked about the defense all season long and they have yet to disappoint, with its second shutout during this streak. They’ve allowed 21 in the past four games, just over 5 points per game. On the season, Prosper had given up 58 points, 9.7 per game. Kaleb Adams is up to 645 yards and 7 TDs while Everett Jefferson is the leading receiver at 288 yards and 4 TDs on just eight catches. The Eagles are averaging 385 yards per game while allowing 251. Prosper lost the past meetings with North 46-18 and 43-19. The Eagles won in 2013 and 2012 by scores of 59-48 and 31-10.
