Karen 'Jean' Pylant

On Thursday, January 13, 2022, Karen 'Jean' Pylant, passed away at age 79.

Jean was born on November 13,1942 in Fort Sill, Lawton, Oklahoma to Elza Mae and William Edgar Rogers(Bill). On April 13,1963, she married Arthur Boyd Pylant. Jean had a passion for people.She graduated from nursing school in 1975 and worked at the hospital in Waxahachie

,Texas from 1975-1994.

Her and her husband raised their children in Texas and later retired to Canadian, Oklahoma where she loved to enjoy the beautiful scenery and deer from her front porch.She enjoyed telling stories and was known for her infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit. She loved the Lord and shared Him with others. One of her favorite things to do was fill the whole pew with guests at her local Church of Christ where she was a member.

Jean was preceded in death by her mother

Elza Mae Stephens, Rogers and her Father William Edgar (Bill) Rogers. As well as her Husband Arthur Boyd Pylant. She is survived by her two sisters Sherry Gaines, Sandra Smithey and her Brother Bill Rogers and his wife Pam. Her children Thomas Edgar Pylant (Eddie) and wife Rachelle Pylant, Julie Sibley and husband Jim Sibley. Cheryl Baker. As well as her 15 grandchildren, her many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life arrangements will be held at the Church of Christ in Crowder Oklahoma, date and time TBA.
