March 19, 1937 - January 17, 2022

Alice passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Alice grew up in Dallas, Texas, graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1955. Through a mutual friend, Alice met Clyde Ellis Cook; they dated and later married on August 8,1958. Alice and Clyde were married for 44 year; from their marriage they had four children: David, Jerry, Judy & Debra. Unfortunately, Clyde Cook passed away unexpectedly on 11/02/2007; his love for Alice still remained until his death. Surviving family members: Debra Cook, Laura Bond, David Cook (sp Cyd Boatright), Judy Burden (sp Tommy Burden). After a long battle with cancer, son Jerry Cook passed away in 2016. Alice loved her grandchildren - Joshua Cook, Shyann Burden, Jessica Allen, Alexis Howard and her great grandchildren - Colt, Damien, Addiley, Nicho, Brielle, Aiden, Olivia, Liam, and RiRi. Alice loved the Lord and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Oak Cliff. Alice volunteered at the General hospital in Lancaster, TX, and gave her time to anyone who needed transportation to and from a doctor's visit, to the hospital, or sit with you so you weren't alone. Alice loved to help people. Alice was a Giver with a Huge heart. Alice loved the time spent with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends. Alice enjoyed bowling on a league at Red Bird Lanes in Duncanville with her friends, traveling with her friends to Choctaw, going to dinner, shopping, garage saling, and spending time with granddaughter Shyann; they were Two Peas in a Pod & the Apple of Nana's Eye. We love you Mama, Nana and Friend. A Celebration of Life is pending for family and friends. We request, if you attend, to please be considerate and wear a mask.
