Nancy Lynn Singleton

Nancy Lynn Singleton, 56, passed away suddenly on September 30, 2021 in her sleep. Nancy was born on April 20, 1965 to Ron and Pat Brown. She was the (middle) of three children. Nancy attended Duncanville High school, Texas A&M University and graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington. Nancy had a very loving and fiery personality. She loved horses and was an avid barrel racer, especially during her high school and college years. After school, she became a community banker and was extremely proud of her accomplishments and in serving customers. She later expanded her career, using her banking knowledge to become an examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of Currency.

In 1987 she married Mark Singleton and they were blessed with one son, Meson. Nancy was a wonderful and loving mother to Meson and she considered him her greatest accomplishment. When it came to Meson, she was the epitome of the term, "Mama Bear". There was never a doubt that she was passionate, very protective and endlessly proud. She beamed with pride and joy as she recently watched him marry his love, Tristen.

Nancy is survived by her son, Meson (Tristen), her parents Ron and Pat Brown, her brother, Ron Brown, Jr, (Angelica) her sister, Rhonda Brown, nieces and nephews Cody (Elizabeth) Cort and Lexi, April (Tice) Morgan, Ty Brown and Tanner brown

Visitation and funeral services will be under the direction of Boze-Mitchell McKibbins Funeral Home, 511 W. Main St., Waxahachie. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with the funeral service following at Park Meadows Baptist Church, 3350 N Hwy 77, Waxahachie, TX 75165 on Thursday, October 7th at 1:00 pm. The graveside service will immediately follow. Burial will be at Waxahachie City cemetery.

A celebration of life for Nancy will be held at 1305 west Jefferson in the banks board room on the second floor from 2:00 to 5:00 pm
