David Ream, steadfast husband, father, Pops, and coach, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at the age of 65.

David was born on September 15, 1955 near Enid, Oklahoma to Joe and Oleta Ream. He graduated from Caprock High School in Amarillo, Texas and attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma where he met the love of his life, Janie. They married December 21, 1977.

David was a high school football coach and educator for more than 37 years. He coached at Caprock and Palo Duro high schools in Amarillo, Texas and at Hobbs High School in New Mexico before moving to Liberty-Eylau High School in Texarkana, Texas in 1989. In 1999, Coach Ream led the Liberty-Eylau Leopards to the city's first-ever state football championship.
