Aaron Jacob "AJ" Woodall

Aaron Jacob "AJ" Woodall, age 38, of Waxahachie passed away at his residence on April 20, 2021.

AJ was a 2001 Waxahachie High School graduate. He went on to attend Baylor University where he graduated from the Hankamer School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2005. While attending Baylor, he became a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

After graduation, AJ went to work for Citizens National Bank of Texas where he's been employed for the past 15 years. From humble beginnings as an entry level teller to Vice President in the Finance Department, he met many friends that made CNB less like a job and more like a second home.

AJ was a devoted father to his two children Karsyn and Levi. He enjoyed attending their sporting events and being featured in their many dance videos. AJ was also a devoted son and brother who always put family first. He was always willing to help with whatever you ask of him. He especially loved Sunday's because it was a reserved time for family and his mother's home cooking. AJ loved sharing his contagious laughter especially with his brother, Chase, and his family.

AJ was a very passionate person with many interests. He loved golfing, hunting pheasant in Kansas, hunting Oryx in Valley Mills, TX and helicopter hog hunting. in the winter, you could find him riding snow mobiles in the Sierras of California or the Grand Tetons of Wyoming.

AJ was truly one of a kind. He was the type of friend who always had your back but always wanted to know that you had his too. You could count on AJ to be the life of the party, to get you into some kind of mischief, to bring people together and say something unexpected.

He is survived by his children, Karsyn and Levi Woodall; his mother and stepfather, Janet and Craig Rudolph; his father and stepmother, Robert and Kerri Woodall; brother Chase Rudolph and wife Bailey; aunt Cindy Sitz Smith; uncle Chris Rudolph; nephew Rhen Rudolph; cousin Peyton Borders and husband Jordan; grandparents, Terry and Ruby Sitz.
