Lyndell Maurice Bankston, 46, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2007, in an Oklahoma hospital.
His funeral was Wednesday, May 9, at Clayton Kay-Vaughn Funeral Home and was buried at the Venus Memorial Cemetery.
He was born December 13, 1960, in Plainview, Texas to Reece and Barbara Sue Bankston.
Lyndell was a welder by trade. Music and songwriting was his passion. He was very talented and could play anything that had strings on it. Lyndell was also a very good cook and enjoyed it very much. Of all his talents and enjoyments of life, the one thing that he enjoyed most was his family and spending time with them. He will be missed by so many close friends and all who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by a special uncle, Charles W. Bankston.
He is survived by his parents, Reece and Barbara Sue Bankston of Marietta, Okla.; his brothers, Kevin Bankston and wife, Teresa of Burleson, and Corey Bankston of Garland; his sister, Terrie Sue Perez and husband, Garth of Garland; his two nieces, four nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
