Calvin C. Sieg, 84, of Waxahachie passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, in Temple, Texas. He was born to the late Leo Stanford and Sadie Victoria Sallen Sieg on Feb. 7, 1929. He was retired from the U.S. Army having served in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of the Shriners Lodge.

He is survived by three sons, Ralph C. Sieg of Glen Rose, Texas; Steven Sieg of Glen Rose, Texas and David K. Sieg of Garland, Texas; one daugher, Diana M. Sieg of Mansfield, Texas; one brother, Lincoln A. Sieg of Lynn, Mo.; one sister, Bernadine M. Boss of Jefferson City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Linda Sue Sieg; and daughter, Astrid Schroeter in 2008.

Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Friday, Feb. 11, 2011, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

A visitation with the family will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
