Dr. Katherine Donaldson died unexpectedly on June 10, 2020, at her home in Waxahachie, Texas, as a result of a massive heart attack.


Katherine is survived by her parents, K.C. and Sandra Browne; her husband, Angelo Eakin; her daughters, Kerry and Kristen Donaldson; her brother, Scott Browne; her sister, Kelly Cameron; her grandchildren, Nicole, Trenton, Kacey, and Essie; and her great-granddaughter, Brinlee. She also leaves behind three bonus children, Brittney, Brad, and Ben; and Brittney’s daughter Leena; along with multiple cousins and other family members.


Katherine earned her PsyD from Baylor University in 1999. She then spent her life building a thriving practice and offering services to the community. She mentored and helped to shape the professional lives of many individuals. She loved to teach.


She had a passion for living life. She enjoyed hiking, nature, crafts, and spending time with the people she loved. Katherine was a ray of light in this community and was loved by many. She devoted her life to spreading joy and helping others in their time of need.


A celebration of her life will be 3 p.m. Friday, June 19, at SAGU in the Hagee Communication Center. The service will be led by Bruce Zimmerman, senior pastor at the Waxahachie Bible Church.
