Edward (Ed) Kilchenstein of Midlothian joined his Heavenly Father on Sunday April 19, 2020.
Ed was born Dec. 15, 1953, in Fort Worth to J.B. and Mary Kilchenstein.
Ed started as a Journeyman Carpenter and worked himself up to a Superintendent in the Construction Industry. From the time he was a small child, he could build anything and he wanted a career in construction. Ed worked for several mid-sized construction firms that built schools and businesses.
He loved his farm and enjoyed raising cattle, hunting, fishing and watching western movies. But his favorite and most beloved pastime was spending precious moments with his daughter Lindsey (Linny) and her two beautiful daughters.
He was not only the best father but a teacher, and a leader, and will forever be a hero living on through the eternal love, knowledge and strength he instilled in them.
Preceding him in death were his parents, J.B. and Mary Kilchenstein.
Survivors include his daughter, Lindsey Kilchenstein of Midlothian; grandchildren, Kailynn (K.K.) and Josilynn (Josi); sister, Julia Kilchenstein; brother, Robert Kilchenstein; and his long-time loyal and very loving best friend, Nancy Pace.
Eddie will be missed by all. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend.
The family will hold a private memorial service. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and the Methodist Children’s Home in Waco.
