The summer camp offered by 4C Stables will be commencing this June for kids 7 and up.


4C Stables is a full care horse boarding facility that offers lessons and training in Waxahachie.


According to their website, “4C Stables is owned and operated by Stacey Carpenter and Ryan Metcalf. Stacey is a veterinary technician and equine massage therapist. Ryan has spent over 35 years in the equine and cattle industry. He has managed and operated several of the most prestigious angus ranches in the U. S. Ryan has a strong nutritional background and has formulated feed rations for all types of livestock -- from goats and sheep to feedlot cattle, registered cattle herds, and horses. He grew up showing and judging cattle across the U. S.”


The camp runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday through Thursday. The cost is $295 per child. The camp will only be accepting 10 riders per camp date.


Their facebook post stated, “Kids have a great time learning all about horses, riding, doing crafts, playing games and swimming! All levels of riding can enjoy a camp!”
