Adults, ages 15 and up, may audition at 7 p.m. Aug. 27 and 28.
Call backs will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at the same location.
Auditions will be conducted at Red Oak’s First United Methodist Church, 600 Red Oak Road, and the first few weeks of rehearsal, beginning Sept. 10, will be at that location.
The cast then moves to the Chautauqua Auditorium in Waxahachie for the final month of preparation. Show dates are Oct. 26-28 in the Chautauqua Auditorium in Getzendaner Park.
There will be a pianist present at auditions. Those auditioning are asked to bring sheet music and prepare one verse and chorus of any song.
They may also use a recorded music track but must bring their own CD player. There will be cold readings from the script and all parts are open.
A large chorus of males and females is needed as well as teens who can sing and dance. Volunteers to assist with set construction and painting, costuming, prop gathering and other tasks are always welcomed.
