Judging for the event will begin at 3 p.m., with the show to start at 5.
Youth that have completed a 4-H clothing project will be involved in the event. The objectives of the event are to recognize 4-H members who have excelled in clothing projects and exhibit skills in the following:

4-H’ers will compete in the construction or buying division in one of three age levels - junior (age 9-11), intermediate (age 12-13) or senior (age 14-19).
In the construction division, garment(s) will be constructed by sewing, knitting or crocheting using new or recycled materials. Accessories may be purchased.
During the judging process, the youth will model their garment(s) and answer questions on fiber content, construction, care, cost, design and fit.
In the buying division, the youth will comparison shop for garment(s) and model their selections.
Questions will be answered about the cost, fiber content, how the garment(s) fits into their current wardrobe, comparison shopping and care.
Youth can also enter the design category, which has three areas: textile, fabrics that the member designs; apparel, designing a garment; and accessory, designing an item to add to or enhance a garment such as a hat, belt or scarf.
The deadline to enter is 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28.
Youth who receive top honors in each division will participate in the district show - which includes competitors from 20 surrounding counties - March 23 in Waco.
