The Waxahachie ISD board of trustees will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. today, with a workshop session scheduled beforehand at 6.
During the workshop session, the trustees will receive a variety of reports, including an update on the 2006 bond issue, which will be followed in the meeting by adoption of the order authorizing the bondsí issuance.
As part of the bond discussion, the districtís architectural firm, Huckabee Company, will present design development for the new elementary and middle school campuses.
Also relating to facilities, the board will receive a report and consider disposition of the Oak Lawn site, as well as consider approval of phase two of the renovation proposal for the Wilemon campus.
Other reports also are set for initial receipt during the workshop session, with further discussion and consideration set for the meeting. Those reports include:

Additional reports to be received during the workshop include an update on student attendance and the districtís community education program, Lighthouse for Learning.
During the meeting, the trustees will receive reports on the districtís staff development council and the school health advisory council, and updates on Global High, an employee attendance incentive program and the 2007-2008 scholastic calendar.
The trustees also will consider approval of a resolution for Easthaven Fresh Water District.
