A total of 3,801 recoveries have been reported in Ellis County, according to the case line list provided by Texas Health Trace (THT) for Sept. 11.

Additionally, there have been a total of 3,939 reported positive COVID-19 cases in Ellis County. This includes 99 active cases, 11 probable and 88 confirmed.

According to a press release, "The Texas Department of State Health Services Dashboard (DSHS), there have been 36,127 tests administered in Ellis County. THT has reported the loss of life of an 85-year old male resident of Palmer, bringing the total to 39 deaths due to COVID-19 in Ellis County. Please keep the family of this individual whose loss we are learning of today in your thoughts and prayers."

For residents seeking COVID-19 testing, additional dates have been added for the Free COVID-19 mobile testing site in Ellis County.

These dates include September 14, 15, and 16 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.
