This Friday, July 24, is the opening of ’The Princess King Play’ at the Waxahachie Community Theater.

"The show is still ON for July 24-26 at University Church, with online ticket sales ONLY so that we can limit seating for each performance. Order your tickets online through Thursday, July 23, at waxahachiecommunitytheatre.com ," stated a post from Waxahachie Community Theater Facebook page.

The number of remaining tickets will be posted and available at the door for each performance. These tickets can be purchased with cash, check, or card one hour before curtain.

"In compliance with current Covid-19 restrictions, we will require everyone to wear a mask and have their temperature checked BEFORE entering the venue. WCT personnel will be gloved and masked to open doors to ensure contactless entry. We will provide disposable paper masks if you do not have your own," the post continued.

Families will be seated together and masks can be removed at that time. The auditorium seating will be marked for appropriate social distancing.

Additionally, the theater will not offer printed programs, instead providing a QR code with digital access to the playbill.

"Thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we all navigate these unprecedented times together to present and enjoy live theatre featuring our talented young actors!," the Theater exclaimed.
