After hosting its first-ever “Love Your Neighbor Prayer Ride” on the “National Day of Prayer” – May 7, Senior Pastor Bruce Zimmerman of Waxahachie Bible Church (WBC) has announced his follow-up plan for another “Love Your Neighbor” event, slated for 8 p.m., June 4.
Earlier in May, WBC successfully charted a list of significant landmarks around the city of Waxahachie, with an emphasis to pray over the organizations/businesses directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. About 100 cars, full of folks from churches all over the city and beyond, joined forces as Zimmerman spoke via the airwaves of KBEC radio station (on 1390 AM) and prayed for each and every one of the impacted businesses during a 40-minute “Prayer Ride.”
“This next event is called a ‘Praise Ride’,” says Zimmerman,“ as this time we will give thanks for all the answered prayers and the blessings of safety and health that the Lord has so graciously blessed our area with.”
WBC’s church event coordinators ask that all interested people wanting to join in the special ride on June 4, need to be lined up by 7:45 p.m. at the YMCA parking lot in the northern part of Waxahachie. The parade of cars will set out promptly at 8 p.m.
The many praises will be broadcast on KBEC as the supporters make their way through the city. For more information, contact the WBC office at (972) 937-9590.
