On Tuesday May 12, Catholic Charities of Dallas is partnering with Saint Joseph Catholic Church for a drive through food pick-up.
Catholic Charities of Dallas helps the community’s most vulnerable by taking on the effects of poverty and helping all those in crisis move toward a better life, according to their page.
“If you or someone you know is in need, please come at that time to get food. Please drive in through 500 East Marvin Ave., by the chapel and follow indications of where to pull up. Volunteers will be there to assist in guiding you. Once parked, please stay in your car. A volunteer will take your information from 6 feet away. The food will be put in your trunk by a volunteer as well. It is on a first-come first-serve basis,” stated the Facebook event.
This event will go from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Saint Joseph Catholic Church is located on 600 East Marvin Avenue.
