Families from Oliver E. Clift Elementary in Waxahachie, gathered for a ’We Miss You’ parade on April 29.

The parade was organized by the school, beginning at 2 p.m. Cars were lined up and some kids had home-made posters, thanking their teachers.

The route went from Carter Ct., Camden Park, Lexington, Wyatt, Marvin, Peters Getzendaner, Perry, Graham and ended at Saddlebrook.

“Shout out to these awesome Clift families and so many more that made our day with a smile, wave, or cheer during the parade today. We’ve missed our students so much!” shared the Clift Facebook page.

Community members left comments thanking the school for the parade and for the opportunity to see their teachers.
