Old Towne Village Antiques reopened its store on Friday May 1, after the “stay home-stay safe” order expired.
Meliss Baker, owner, said that they’ve remodeled the store and have deep cleaned it in time for the customers.
“We’re reopening,” Baker stated. “I have many dealers down here today. We’re working. We’re dusting. We’re mopping. We’re painting. We’re doing exterior painting. We’re doing interior painting, to get ready for the opening.”
Store hours will remain the same, 10 a.m to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
The store will be following the 25 percent occupancy guideline, which equals 50 people for the antique store.
“During this closed period, we’ve had exterior work done on the windows outside. We’ve had a lot of painting inside. So we’re down here mopping, cleaning, dusting ...” Baker said.
The shop is located on 307 S Rogers St., Waxahachie, TX 75165. For more information visit, https://www.oldtownvillageantiques.com/Dealers.html
