Award-winning singer and songwriter Brandon Hixson recently released his seventh solo album titled "Now And Then."

The album features five new songs including the Contemporary Christian radio single, “Deepest Scar” as well as “Life With You (Your Goodness)” and “Reflection of the Cross”.

The album also showcases five of Hixson’s older songs that have been re-recorded for the project including songs from his previous bands, Racing Gravity, Godfueled and Splendorleaf.

“I wrote my very first song in the spring of 2000 when I was in college,” Hixson said. “I wanted to release an album to commemorate the special 20-year event.”

Since 2000, Hixson has written and produced 15 albums, shared the stage with many notable recording artists, scored a Top Five single on the Christian Radio and Retail Weekly Survey and has won numerous awards. His music has been featured in several Christian films and in commercials all over the world and his YouTube channel has received more than 32 million views. Fourteen of his compositions are registered through CCLI (Christian Copyright Licensing International).

Hixson serves as the worship pastor at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Ennis, where he and his wife Karen and their two children, Caleb and Caylin live.
