Clinton Charles Corry, age 79, of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday October 6, 2019, at his home. He was born October 4, 1940, in Littlefield, Texas, to George Thomas and Anna May (Cochran) Corry.
Clint served his Country in the U. S. Army in the Special Forces during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed watching western, always had a beautiful yard, was an avid Dallas Cowboy’s fan and he loved his guns. He delighted in telling the story about his father, who at the time was the Sheriff of Wellington, Texas, and was kidnapped by Bonnie and Clyde. Clint loved laughter and family. He was the best husband, a wonderful father and grandfather who will be deeply missed.
Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Bobbie Corry; children, Debra Ann Corry Brouwer and husband Kevin, Christi Berger, Steve Corry, Tammy Jenkins and Jim Corry and wife Gwen; grandchildren, Clinton, Colton, Chyanne, Keri, Hayley and Chase and 5 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Marianna Anthony and husband Bob and Ruth Schiermeyer.
Graveside service and inurnment will be 9:15 a.m. Monday, October 14, 2019, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
