It is with great sadness that family and loved ones are mourning the loss of three family members that were taken to soon from this earth. Veronica Evonne Hernandez, age 30 and her two precious sons, Jonathan Isaiah Hernandez, age 10 and Christian Lee Livengood, age 20 months, were killed in a car crash on the early morning of, April 2, 2019, on I-20 in Harrison County. They were loved by so many and will be forever remembered and never forgotten.
Veronica was born, October 5, 1988, in Duncanville, Texas to her parents, Luis Rene Hernandez, Jr. and Maria Delrefugio Barrera. She attended Waxahachie High School graduating class of 2008. Veronica met the love of her life, Bryan Lee Livengood in Waxahachie in 2010. In the summer, of 2012 they moved to Georgia where together they raised their two precious sons. She worked at York House Inn in Clayton, Georgia. She loved her kids, family and loved being on her phone. Veronica also loved spending time outdoors and was an animal lover. She enjoyed dancing even though she did not have any rhythm, LOL. Her and her family loved the Lord and were members of Chechero Baptist Church in Clayton, Georgia.
Jonathan Isaiah Hernandez was born, October 1, 2008 in Waxahachie, Texas to his parents, John Dillinger and Veronica Evonne Hernandez. He was in the 4th grade at Rabun County Elementary. He enjoyed his video games, spending time outdoors and played baseball for the 10U Wildcats. He was a great big brother who took care of his bubbie and enjoyed spending time with his grandparents in Texas during the summer.
Christian Lee Livengood was born, August 11, 2018, in Georgia to his parents, Bryan Lee Livengood and Veronica Hernandez. He loved his blankie, his dog and best bud named Lucky. Christian was a precious boy who had so much energy and enjoyed playing in the creeks.
Veronica, Jonathan and Christian are survived by fiancé and father, Bryan Livengood; parents of Veronica and grandparents to the boys, Juan and Maria Barrera, Luis Hernandez, Jr. and wife Maria; grandparents, Olivia and Luis Hernandez, Sr., Aurora Estrada, John Dillinger (Jonathan’s father), Felipa Salas (Jonathan’s grandmother) and Marcelino Gonzales (Christian’s grandfather); Veronica’s siblings and aunt and uncles to Jonathan and Christian, Jessica Davis and husband Billy, Andrew Hernandez, Juan (J.J.) Gress, Rafael Gress, Jr., Daniel Amador and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
They are preceded in death by Veronica’s brother, Luis Hernandez III and Christian’s grandmother, Karen Lee Gonzales and Jonathan’s grandfather, Raymundo Salas
Memorial Service for family and friends will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, April 7, 2019, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas.
