Larry Brownlee Lemmon, 80, of Italy passed away early Thursday, April 4, 2019 at his home. He was born in Dallas, Texas on December 29, 1938. Larry is survived by his wife: Phyllis S. Lemmon, daughter and son in law, Stephani and Rick Perez of Irving, son and daughter in law, Mark L. and Leslie of Celina, son and daughter in law, John and JoAnne Lemmon of Whiskey Flats, TX numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother, Bill Lemmon, dear friend, John Hawkins, brother in law and wife, Jim and Sandy Smathers, and other special relationships including, Lyndel Schreiber, Howard Jones, Ernie Jakubik, Clayton Campbell. Larry retired from Pitney Bowes, Inc. in March, 1995 after 36 years of service. He received their Walter Walker Award on December 12, 1994. He had lived 17 years in Midlothian before moving to the country in Italy in 2003. Larry loved Tractors and being in the country. He served his country by serving in the National Guard.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 12 noon until 1 p.m. Services will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 in the WEST/HURTT Funeral Home 217 S. Hampton Rd., DeSoto, TX 75115 (972.223.6314) with Rev. Tom Ruane of Wagon Wheel Cowboy Church officiating. Interment will follow at Forreston Cemetery in Forreston, Texas.
