Bellanne Butterfly Blessings recently released its quarterly report and is proud to share that the nonprofit has contributed over $9,000 worth of blessings.
Bellanne Butterfly Blessings was created to provide strength, hope, courage and love to children and families affected by childhood illnesses, diseases or impairments. The charitable organization provides care packages for newly diagnosed childhood cancer families, surprise packages for kids who endure lengthy hospital stays, as well as a small package of hope to families who have medically lost a child.
From January to March, the nonprofit has delivered several items and packages to severely sick children. In the first quarter, nine Golden Hero packages were delivered along with 11 firefly boxes, 15 superhero packs, 11 hats for kids with cancer. Another 224 prayer bears were also delivered.
The nonprofit noted 1,165 miles were driven to deliver these blessings. It also announced three primary fundraiser events that are planned for 2019.
First is the event, Clays for Kids, which will take place on June, 28 at Elm Fork Shooting Sports in Dallas. All proceeds will benefit children and their families who face childhood medical challenges.
The nonprofit will then host a golf tournament Sept. 7 at the Waxahachie Country Club. The month of September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Awareness month as well. Bel fought both of these illnesses and beat them.
When the holidays near on the calendar, the Jingle Bel Dash of Hope will take place Dec. 7.
