Paul Preston Morton Jr., 66, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away on March 21, 2019. He was born to parents, Evelyn Morton and Paul Morton on January 27, 1953 in Fort McClellan, Alabama. Paul spent his early childhood traveling overseas, living in France and Japan, before settling in San Antonio, Texas, when he was in grade school. He moved to Dallas, with his mother in his junior year of high school and graduated from David W. Carter High School in 1972. Paul worked for Toyota for over 20 years, earning his Certification as a Master Technician, before he retired in October of 2016. He enjoyed spending time with family, riding with friends and many outdoor activities such as shooting, camping and scuba diving. Also, working on projects, building things and working with his tools. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Paul is survived by daughter, Sherri Bunch; son, Nicholas Morton; and granddaughters, Alyssa Bunch (18), Kylie Bunch (15) and Kaylee Morton (11). A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday April 13 from 1:00-4:00 pm; it is a come and go event at Lloyd Park at Joe Pool Lake Pavilion H.
