This #GivingTuesday, Hope Clinic will celebrate by promoting its services to the community while inviting investment in continued growth.
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this year’s #GivingTuesday will take place on Nov. 27 and will kick off the giving season by inspiring people to collaborate and give back.
Hope Clinic joined the #GivingTuesday movement to give the community another way to partner with their efforts to love, serve and heal their patients.
Barbara Clark, CEO of Hope Clinic, said Hope Clinic will have seen over 8,000 unique patients by the end of 2018, totaling over 25,000 patient visits.
“Hope Clinic exists to show the light of God’s love to the community by providing a quality, patient-centered medical home,” Clark said. “We have adults and children that are uninsured who need healthcare and our staff at Hope Clinic are willing to serve those needs. We also take Medicaid and Medicare. Your donations help us serve many more people who need healthcare and can’t afford it.”
Clark said she knows, based on their data, that there is a greater need for Hope Clinic’s services in the community and the clinic will be there for each one-but they need help to expand their services.
Hope Clinic was originally established in 1999 as a faith-based, not-for-profit corporation. The Ellis County Coalition for Health Options provides comprehensive health care services for the entire family
