Glenn Arthur Repp III was called home by his Lord unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. It was unexpected for us, his family, but God has his own time keeping system. Glenn was born in Chester Clinic September 20, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Glenn and Violet Repp. He graduated from Carter High School in 1973 and attended Bethany Nazarene College (now Southern Nazarene University) in Bethany, Oklahoma. He graduated from the Oklahoma Police Academy. He joined the Duncanville, Texas Police Department and later graduated from the Dallas Police Academy.
Glenn rose through the ranks and eventually became lieutenant in charge of the criminal investigation division. He retired on June 30, 2005. Glenn received many commendations and medals including the medal of valor.
Not content being out of public service, Glenn joined the Ellis County Sheriff's Department on December 30, 2007 where he served as a deputy until his untimely death.
He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Violet Repp; three sisters, Carolyn (and Dan) Jaggers, Janie and (Curt) Bates, and Joy (and Jerry) Woods; daughters, Laura Leigh (and Jared) Salles of Alexandria, Virginia, Jennie Deeann (and Dan) Ferguson of Plano, Texas; two grandchildren, Hudson and Austyn Salles, and numerous nieces and nephews. He had been married to Sherry Yvonne Mason of El Dorado, Arkansas.
