1. Craft a marvelous Christmas wreath to take home for the holidays at Earthtones Greenery on Saturday at 3 p.m. The store will provide fresh cuttings off of real Christmas trees and a fantastic selection of accessories to use. Debbie will be there to provide step-by-step instructions so you can take home a masterpiece. This event can be fun for the whole family, adults and children alike! Each creation is $30 each, and the event is limited to 20 creation stations. Building together is accepted. Earthtone Greenery is located in Midlothian at 810 E. Main St.

2. When you’re done eating the turkey or shopping on Black Friday, you’re no doubt going to look for some time to relax and maybe grab a cold one. You can do just that this weekend at Rockett Café and Club, where country artist Joey Green will perform live. Playing music ever since he was 17, Green has toured with national acts including Randy Rogers and the Eli Young Band and has released six albums since his debut. It'll be the perfect chance to cap your Thanksgiving week with some fantastic country music to boot! 9 p.m. Friday at 5790 FM 813.

3. Get Up, Get Out, and Shop Small in Downtown Waxahachie on Saturday. downtown will be a flurry of activity with stores offering steals and deals for Shop Small Saturday. Find one-of-a-kind holiday gifts at downtown Waxahachie’s numerous antique stores, boutiques and specialty shops.

4. Eleven Hundred Springs will perform at the Rockett Cafe and Club on Saturday from 10 p.m. - 1 a.m. The group is known for such songs as "I'm an S.O.B. and "Hard Working Just Ain't Working Anymore." 5. In theaters is the second installment in the “Fantastic Beasts” series, “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” rated PG-13 which is set in J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World featuring the adventures of magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne); or check out the PG-13 comedy “Instant Family” wherein a couple (Rose Byrne, Mark Wahlberg) find themselves in over their heads when they adopt three children; and the R-rated crime thriller “Widows” stars Viola Davis as one of four women with nothing in common who stage a heist to pay off a debt left behind by their dead husbands’ criminal activities.
