Full overnight closures of sections of Interstate-35E in Waxahachie in both directions are scheduled for each night next week beginning Sunday thru Friday, October 19.
The full northbound closures on I-35E will occur from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Sunday thru Friday between South Prong Creek and Spur 394 and also at FM 1446 and FM 66, near exit 399.
The northbound full overnight closures on I-35E at FM 66 will require motorists to take the FM 66 exit and stay on the frontage road to go through the intersection to re-enter I-35E just north of FM 66.
The northbound full overnight closures on I-35E at FM 1446 will require motorists to take the FM 1446 exit and stay on the frontage road to go through the intersection to re-enter I-35E just north of FM 1446.
The northbound full overnight closures on I-35E at Spur 394 will require motorists to take exit 397 and stay on northbound US 77 through the first intersection and make a left at the second intersection onto the I-35E frontage road. Traffic will remain on the frontage road and re-enter I-35E at the next on-ramp.
A southbound full overnight closure on I-35E is also scheduled for each night next week between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. at Spur 394 (exit 397). Motorists will take exit 397 and stay on southbound US 77 through the intersection and continue along the frontage road to gain access to the I-35E frontage road to re-enter the interstate.
The closures on Sunday will not begin until midnight. The closures on all other nights will begin at 9 p.m.
