It is with excruciating sadness that the family of Brian Glenn Goodloe announces his passing on September 23, 2018.
Born June 28, 1962, to Robert Lee and Dorothy Jean Goodloe of Red Oak, Texas, Brian was a man of few words, dry wit and impeccable integrity. He was raised as a fourth generation farmer and farmed side-by-side his father, Bobby Goodloe, for well over thirty years. Brian understood working the land and working hand-in-hand with the Lord, with whatever weather provisions God allowed. He was a man of his word, a true friend, father, son and husband. To say he will be missed is an understatement. Our loss is almost unbearable. Brian is survived by his wife Kim Goodloe and children Kelsey Goodloe, Rebekah Furstenfeld, Tyler Furstenfeld and James Lanza, along with three grandsons: Coy, Max and Mason Lanza. He is also survived by his parents Robert and Dorothy Jean Goodloe; sister and brother-in-law David and Kendra Blakley; nephews Joshua, Caleb, Jacob and Benjamin Blakley. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Robert Lynn and Terrie Goodloe, along with their children Tara and Bobby Goodloe.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 10 AM at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County in Waxahachie, Texas. All are welcome to attend this service. Doors will open at 9 AM for those who would like to visit with the family.
