Season ticket sales for the upcoming season of Waxahachie Indian football, Cherokee Charmers and Spirit of Waxahachie Indian band are underway.

The season officially kicks off Aug. 31 on the road against the Ennis Lions, but the Tribe will have five home games this season.

The first home game is in week three, Sept. 14, against Flower Mound Marcus. Waxahachie will then open the District 7-6A slate with home games against Cedar Hill (Sept. 28), Lake Ridge (Oct. 12), Grand Prairie (Oct. 26, homecoming) and South Grand Prairie (Nov. 8).

Season ticket holders have until Monday to renew their seats at Stuart B. Lumpkins Stadium online. An email was sent Aug. 6 with instructions.

Sales to current ticket holders will then continue in-person at the Global High School cafeteria (formerly Waxahachie Ninth Grade Academy) from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 15 and 8-11 a.m. Aug. 18. Those who renewed online can also pick up their tickets during either of those times.

Trade day and a third chance for online-renewal pick up will be from 1-3 p.m. Aug. 18.

Those who did not have season tickets last year but wish to purchase a bundle this year can do so from 5-8 p.m. Aug. 20 at Global High School, which will also be the final day for pick up of all tickets.

Season tickets are $40 each and WISD accepts cash, check, or credit cards on site.
