All are invited to a service of old-time congregational hymn singing on Sunday morning, July 1 at Central Presbyterian Church’s annual Worship in the Park.

The 10 a.m. service will be held in the Chautauqua Auditorium, followed by a picnic lunch in Getzendaner Memorial Park.

This service, which traditionally is held just before the Independence Day holiday, features a number of old-time favorite gospel hymns. All are welcome “to come as you are” and to stay for lunch. Cool and casual dress is encouraged.

The picnic is a “bring-a-dish” event. Everyone is encouraged to bring something large enough for a large family serving to be shared. (It is requested that attendees provide their own refrigeration, should their dish require it.) All are welcome.

In case of rain, the lunch following the service will be at Central Presbyterian Church, 402 N. College St.
