Joe Sepeda, age 71, of Waxahachie, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He was born February 15, 1947 in Bastrop, Texas to Martin Sepeda and Felicita Martinez. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his family. He enjoyed working in his yard, playing guitar, singing and drinking his beer. Joe was a humble, loving, kind, and compassionate man. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. Words can't describe how much he'll be missed.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Betty Sepeda; daughter, Emily Luera and husband Louis; son, Jacob Sepeda and Clarissa Rivera; three grandchildren, Sydney Luera, Adam Luera and Presley Luera; several brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Solomon Sepeda and 4 siblings.
Visitation for family and friends will be 6PM Wednesday, April 4, 2018 with services to follow at 7PM in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Bert Sigala officiating. Graveside service and interment will be 2PM Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Lakeview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nick Morales, Daniel Hernandez, Chris Munoz, Adam Luera, Sammy Morales and Demus Robles.
