Faye Trammell Browning, 75 of Cedar Hill, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, in Dallas with her niece Sharon Kay sitting at her side. She was born to the late Walter L. & Onie R. Rogers Trammell on July 23, 1942, in Kerens. She married the love of her life James Edward Browning on July 1, 1967.

Faye graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1960. She worked for Continental-CNA Insurance for over 30 years in Dallas and worked for MBMS in Dallas for several years before retiring. She was a member of the Avenue Church in Waxahachie. She loved to travel, and she and her husband went to every state in the United States except Alaska at least once and some states more than once. She went to Hawaii 5 times. They never had children but were always taking her nieces and nephews on vacations with her. She will be greatly missed by so many that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her brother, Ray Trammell and his wife Anne of Marquez, 3 sisters, Imogene Condor of Waxahachie, Mary Choate of Coupland, and Melba O’Daniel and her husband Ernest of Midlothian, her brother in-law Bobby Wells and his wife Teresa of Waxahachie, sister in-laws Barbara Southard of Waxahachie, Pat Freeman of Waxahachie, Retha Browning of Tucson, Arizona, brother in-laws, Bobby Browning of Waxahachie, and Charles Browning and his wife Dixie of Waxahachie, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Browning, by her parents, Walter and Onie Trammell, and by her brother, Winford Trammell, and her sisters, Etta Mae McBride, Beatrice Huddleston and Linda Wells.

Gravesides services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 11:00 AM in the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be observed on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 6-8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bobby Joe McBride, Floyd McBride, Gary Trammell, Rodney Sevier, Bryan Lowe, Tyler Lowe and Larry Huddleston.
