John Nolen Seymore was born December 29, 1933, in Riley Springs, Texas to A. D. and Inez (Puckett) Seymore. He went into the loving arms of his Savior on November 25, 2017. John was a United States Army Veteran who selflessly served his country in the Korean War. On December 12, 1953, John married the love of his life Wanda Lou Watson also known as “Sunshine.” John was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather and a loyal friend. He referred to his wife and 4 daughters as his special bouquet from God. John retired from Sears Roebuck after 30 years of employment.
John is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Seymore of Waxahachie, Texas; adoring daughters, Karen Varner and husband, James of Cisco, Texas, Lanett Laramore and husband, Stephen of Royse City, Texas and Pamela Wilson and husband, Allan of Maypearl, Texas; his cherished brother Ray Seymore and wife, Cindy of Rockwall, Texas. He was a doting grandfather to his grandchildren, Charity Rankin and husband, Josh, Kassy Suggs and husband, James, John Stout, Taylor Wilson and wife, Lauren, Aaron Laramore and wife, Teena, Allex Wilson, Grace Varner and Janie Laramore and many treasured great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his mother and father, Inez & A.D. Seymore, brother, Baby Seymore and his beautiful firstborn daughter, Debra Inez Gulledge.
Visitation for family and friends will be 2PM to 3PM Thursday, November 30, 2017, with funeral services following at 3PM in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.
Committal service and interment will be 9:30 AM Friday, December 1, 2017, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
