WAXAHACHIE — The Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas will soon have a new market in town.
Super Garcia’s Meats Market is preparing to move into a portion of a shopping center that formally housed Tuesday Morning, Super Garcia’s Meats Market, off of U.S. Highway 77 between Gold’s Gym and Century 21 Judge Fite Company.
“We are going to open our grocery store and a small restaurant to serve the excellent, diverse community of Waxahachie,” expressed Jose Garcia, owner of Super Garcia’s Meats Market.
“Our goal is to introduce this community to the combination of Mexican and Latin fresh foods and groceries,” Garcia articulated. “Including fresh meat, pork, fish, and chicken. And an on-site bakery, with fresh tortillas and tasty carnitas.”
“We know that our selection is going to be unique and that anyone will be happy with our products,” he added.
Opening his first location in Waxahachie, Garcia began renovations in early May of this year, expecting to open his storefront by September 2017.
“At the moment we do not have an exact date for the opening, but we expect to have everything ready by the end of September,” Garcia clarified.
With a variety of companies that include Midlothian’s Cornerstone Construction, Rockwall’s Pressure Plumbing, and Burleson’s APEC Electric hard at work, Garcia looks forward to his grand opening.
“The community has been helpful,” Garcia complimented. “We know that there are a great number of Hispanic people in the area that are happy to know there is going to be a place where they will be able to find the items they need.”
“We believe that Waxahachie is a great place for business owners and [we] want to bring more business to this community,” he added.
