Anna Louise Wakefield, 89 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Friday, April 28, 2017, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Anna was born on May 3, 1927, in Waxahachie, Texas to the late Floyd Monroe Swinney and Ida Dell Corley Swinney. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her and loved her.

Anna Louise Wakefield was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Lee Wakefield Sr.; her parents Floyd Monroe and Ida Dell Swinney; she was also preceded by her brother Edgar Earl Swinney.

Anna Louise is survived by her three sons; Thomas Lee Jr, of Waxahachie and Donald Wayne of Houston, Texas and Floyd Gaylon Wakefield of Waxahachie; two daughters Delores Ann Torres and husband Martin of Palmer, Texas and Sandra Jo Logsdon of Waxahachie; her sister Betty Jo Roden of Waxahachie; her sister-in-law Charlotte Swinney McAdams; two granddaughters Heather Morgan, Leslie King; five great-grandchildren Jessica Huddle, Emily Huddle, Sean Stanton, Ryan Morgan and Kaley King; two Great Great grandchildren Natalie Burns and Jaxon Burns and a number Nieces and Nephews.

Special Thanks to Mackie Hesse a special friend who loved Anna and was her Care Giver for a number of years.

Graveside services to celebrate her life is scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Lakeview Cemetery in Waxahachie, Texas.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for Monday, May 1, 2017, from 6-8 pm at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home 1826 W, Hwy 287 Business in Waxahachie.
