Vivian Kathleen Gable, age 84, of Midlothian, passed away Tuesday evening, January 24, 2017, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She was born December 20, 1932, in Maryland to George Edward and Blanche Elizabeth (Taylor) Thompson. Vivian had worked as a CNA for Sterling House Assisted Living Center in Cedar Hill and Red Oak Health and Rehab. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, and word search puzzles. She loved her dog, Princess.

Survivors include two daughters Judy Toner and husband Ed of Cedar Hill and Joyce Van Story of Grand Prairie; two sons, Ron Maddox of Midlothian and Steve Clouse and wife Susan; grandchildren, David and Bonnie, Deborah and Cliff, Daniel and Danielle, Donnie and Christy, Kathleen, Ronnie, Jr. and Sarah, Wesley and Stashia, Elisha and Ryan, Shayna and Ryan, Susan and Nick, Nick and Ashley and Casey; great-grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Connor, Hannah, Claire, Kiley, Braydon, Kari, Shawn, Bubba, Natalie, Ricky, Wesley, McKenzie, Dakota, Britton, Ryleigh, Laker, Freya, Brianca and Jordan; one great-great-granddaughter, Aria. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donnie Gable; son, Gary Maddox, and grandson, Dwayne Kirkpatrick.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6 to 8 PM Friday, January 27, 2017, at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Saturday, January 28, 2017, in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Pastor Reggie Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
