Beloved “Pappa,” husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Kenneth Lee Earhart, 89, passed away January 19, 2017, by the side of his loving wife. He was born April 18, 1927, in Milburn, Oklahoma to John William and Lola Mae Haley Earhart. He attended high school at Tulsa Central, followed by service in the U. S. Army at the end of World War II. He the returned to Oklahoma to attend college, graduating from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma in 1950.

In September of 1950, Kenneth married Anna Lou Gentry in Sulphur, Oklahoma. The couple settled in Ada, where he was employed by Ideal Cement as a chemist. Later, they were transferred with Ideal Cement to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He moved his family to Midlothian in 1965 where he would become the General Manager of the Gifford-Hill Cement Plant. Kenneth eventually retired as Vice-President of the Gifford-Hill Cement Division.

Kenneth was very involved in the Midlothian Community for over 50 years, serving as chairman of the board of the Senior Citizens Center. He was also a member of the Rotary Club, Midlothian Masonic Lodge #584, Midlothian American Legion, past member of the W.C. Tennery Hospital Board, past president of the Chamber of Commerce and was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church of Midlothian, where he and Ann were original members of the Bill Theiss Sunday School Class.

Kenneth is survived by his wife: Anna Lou Gentry Earhart; daughters: Kena Loue McKee and husband Mark and Karen Courtney McCuistion; granddaughters: Carrie Ann White and husband Ryan, Meghan McKee Klement and Haley Elizabeth McCuistion; great-grandchildren: Lane Jordan White, Nathan Kenneth White, Blake Matthew White and Jillian Aidree Klement.

Visitation and service were held Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Midlothian, followed by burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
