Each month during the school year, Rotary Club of Waxahachie honors a student from both Waxahachie High School and Global High School for their outstanding achievements. It is always with great pleasure that the Rotarians welcome these students who have proven themselves to be good citizens and outstanding students.
In this week’s meeting, Ken Lynch, principal of Global High, had the honor of introducing Hannah Lapeyrolerie as the Student of the Month Hannah is the daughter of David and Susan Lapeyrolerie. She is currently a junior at Global and is honored to be representing her school in such a manner.
Hannah, who is on the A/B honor roll, not only excels academically but she also dedicates many hours to community service. As a member of Interact, Hannah is active in her favorite community service activity, Hidden Miracles.
In her spare time, Hannah enjoys reading and running.
After graduating from Global Hannah plans to attend either Texas Women’s University or the University of North Texas. Her goal is to become an occupational therapist.
It is an honor for the Rotary Club to acknowledge such an outstanding student and citizen as Hannah Lapeyrolerie. A plaque with her name on it will hang in the halls of Global High for many years to come.
