Tyron Davis has announced his candidacy for the Democratic nomination for Ellis County Constable, Pct. 3.

“I am a lifetime resident of Ellis County. I am also the son of Bishop Robert Davis and Claudia Davis of Reagor Springs. I have a twin brother, Byron, and a younger brother Robert. I have been married to my wife Angela for 23 years

and she is an employee with the Waxahachie Independent School District. We have two children and one grandchild,” Davis Davis said.

A 1991 graduate of Waxahachie High School, Davis continued his

education at Navarro College where he received a peace officer’s certificate. He also holds a concealed handgun license.

He is currently em- ployed at Walgreen’s Distribution Center and also serves as an ordained Elder for the Church of God in Christ of Texas, as well as the minister of music for the Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church of Waxahachie.

“As a candidate for the

Ellis County Democratic Party, I would like to inform the voters that my character will speak for itself,” Davis stated. “I am dependable, trust- worthy, and when elected I will be committed to the safety and protection of the community of Ellis County. On March 1, I am soliciting your support

for a change for ‘A Safer Tomorrow.’”
