Terrell secures late win against Ennis
ENNIS — Last Friday night, Oct. 18, the Ennis Lions played host to the Terrell Tigers in a critical District 6-5A match up for both teams.
ENNIS — Last Friday night, Oct. 18, the Ennis Lions played host to the Terrell Tigers in a critical District 6-5A match up for both teams.
Stretching their impressive playoff streak to 23 seasons was just a formality for the Waxahachie Lady Indians, who claimed two more District 11-6A victories, including a five-set thriller at Mesquite Horn on Friday evening that came down to the final two points. The Lady Indians (25-16, 10-0) were able to keep their perfect district record intact with a marathon 25-20, 17-25, 25-22, 22-25, 16-14 win over the host Lady Jaguars.
MESQUITE — The final score made Friday night’s game look deceptively close, but it was still a battle for the Waxahachie Indians against upset-minded Mesquite Horn at Hanby Stadium.
The Waxahachie High School boys’ and girls’ cross country teams made themselves right at home on Thursday morning in the District 11-6A championship meet at the Waxahachie Athletic Complex.
