7 Texans among Idaho group arrests

Seven Texans were among the members of the white supremacist Patriot Front group arrested while trying to disrupt a pride event in Idaho, according to police and jail records. Authorities in Idaho arrested 31 members of the group Saturday as they were packed into the back of a U-Haul near the event in Coeur d’Alene.

City eyes bond issuance to fund 19 projects

The city of Waxahachie is moving forward the process of issuing certificates of obligation for a variety of construction projects throughout the city. Monday the City Council approved a resolution that begins the process by directing the publication of notice to issue the Certificates of Obligation, Series 2022, directing the preparation of a preliminary official statement and related materials, and providing an effective date.

Glenn Heights enhances safety with new firefighter masks, police body cameras

The city of Glenn Heights Fire Department further committed itself to the importance of safety last week by outfitting its fire fighters with new SCBA masks that contain built in thermal cameras. Issued to all fire fighters, the thermal imaging cameras built into the SCBA masks are the latest technology, which offers important handsfree imaging capabilities as fire fighters enter a burning structure.
